TOUR

Every year Warwick Welsh Society hosts a cultural trip. This trip usually is held in Cardiff. On tour we celebrate what it means to be welsh. We visit local landmarks such as Cardiff castle and Cardiff museum. One of the main highlights is watching a six nations rugby match in the city, before celebrating with a night out exploring some great pubs and clubs.

Tour 23/24

Last year we explored Cardiff starting with an amazing scavenger hunt. Members grouped up to take memorable photos of landmarks, competing to win a welsh themed prize.

We continued to the depot to watch Wales play England in the Rugby amongst an amazing crowd, enjoying some welsh drinking and singing. We continued by completing a pub crawl of some local pubs, ending the night in Heidi’s.

A special mention to our society mascots Dewi and Seren. Both were recruited on different tour trips. Last year Dewi celebrated his first birthday with the society. We took some memorable photos to build a Dewi’s Travels file for future members to enjoy.
