We host a variety of social events in which everyone is welcome. Whether you choose to drink or not, we hope you can have fun with fellow Welshies 🙂

One of the biggest social events we have here in Warwick is circling. It may be daunting at first as most people probably haven’t heard what it entails, only rumours. It will just be our two social secretaries standing in the middle of the circle playing drinking games with the rest of the society. If you are worried about anything at all please message any of our exec members, but I promise it is so much fun. We have different themes each week where we all dress up as best we can and have a laugh with some friends. Come and join us to see what it’s all about!!

We also run bar crawls. These can be more planned or chilled out depending on the day. We go to different pubs and bars together, playing silly little games and sometimes dressing up, but these are usually more chill and about getting to know each other a bit more and having a laugh to destress from university.
Also, we love to watch Welsh sports and cheer our national teams on, whether that’s rugby, football, or any other big games. This is mostly in Leamington Spa pubs but sometimes we mix things around. It’s always great to get together and cheer with a passionate group! We also have meals where we go to different restaurants/pubs to have a catch up, usually at the start and end of the term.
Finally, we also have one off socials such as quizzes, karaoke, bingo, games nights, etc.

We strive to plan and host things so that everyone will find something they like. Again please message our social secretaries, our welfare officer, or any exec members if you have any worries, and everyone is welcome to bring a friend!
